Lactation Consultant

National Health Recruiting is seeking the support of a Lactation Consultant for a potential position to provide services for the US Government in Aviano, Italy as an employee of National Health Recruiting. The lactation consultant shall provide outpatient health care to qualifying beneficiaries. Conduct rounds each morning and as needed to provide support to breastfeeding mothers. In addition, providing the necessary follow-up outpatient visits, community resources, and support groups as recommended by applicable standards of care. The consultant is required to provide services to expectant mothers and utilizing skills to provide services as a consultant on a fulltime basis.
Requirements: (1) International Board Certified Lactation Consultant certification (2) At least 2 years of experience working with breastfeeding mothers and infants in a clinical, hospital or medical center setting. (3) Current Registered Nursing License (4) Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross CPR/BLS Course (5) Neonatal Resuscitation Program (Certification).
